Sales Engineer (Basic $2.5-4K, alternate 5.5days, Farrer Park)
Reports to the Head of the Fire Protection and Clean Waste Water Handling Section
Company Products: Fire Sprinkler, Ventilation Fans, Electrical Power Distribution System, Pumps, Pipes and Fittings etc etc
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow existing sales accounts (Hunting role)
- Identify, understand and propose suitable solutions to meet customer’s needs and requirements
- Attend to sales enquiries
- Demo and conduct technical training for customers
- Provide aftersales support service
- Prepare sales report, forecast and other reports required by management
- Gather market intelligence on competitor’s pricing and activities
- Prepare quotations, product technical specifications and product manual
- Handle inspections and other site related matters
- Ad-hoc tasks assigned by management
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering field with 1 or more years’ sales / business development experience
- Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- High degree of initiative, target driven and customer-centric
- Possess class 3 driving license + own transport (Car preferred)
Details:
- Outpatient medical benefit, H & S coverage
- Annual Bonus with year-end and mid-year pay out
- Work locations: Farrer Park
- Basic Salary: $2500 – $4000 + transport allowance $700 + mobile phone allowance S$80
- Working hours: Mon – Fri:8.30 am to 5.30 pm & Sat:8.30 am to 12.30 pm (alternate)
